Inclusivity as a new trend among the capital residential complex

The topic of inclusivity has increasingly become a topic of interest for journalists. The effort to build a barrier-free city began with the installation of more accessible sidewalks, but they were only the first step to creating a more comfortable environment. The developers could not stay away for long and decided to join the general desire to make our place really cozy for all its residents. Who has already started to make their projects more inclusive? The agency has already conducted a survey among developers, so we can share its results with you.

Of course, changes are not made overnight. In order to assess the extent to which inclusiveness is taken into account in new projects, we will have to wait for their implementation, but already at the time of planning the works, numerous developers set additional requirements for them. It is known that the five market leaders have resolutely taken up the improvement of already built and future residential complexes. Who does what?

  • KAN Development. In future projects, the developer lays down clear requirements for incoming groups. Yes, barrier-free entrances and gentler ramps with accessible tilt angles are planned. Also, separate places are allocated for people with disabilities in the general parking lot, which will facilitate the process of using a car for them.
  • DIM Group. Special attention will be paid to elevators in future projects. They strive to make them accessible to people with different abilities. In particular, control panels will be installed not only with the usual markings, but also with Braille markings, so that blind people do not experience difficulties when moving between the floors of their home. The next stages of residential complexes are already being designed according to the new rules and with greater attention to inclusiveness. A vivid example of effective changes is the residential complex "Метроpolicy". It has widened the entrance doors and interior openings for people using wheelchairs.
  • Alliance Novobud. New projects are built taking into account the current state norms and innovations regarding the requirements for inclusiveness. Improvements are also being made in already commissioned residential complexes. They are equipped with facilities for people with disabilities. Yes, ramps have already been installed in most housing complexes.
  • Avalon. The company takes into account innovations in state building regulations (DBN), which relate to inclusiveness in residential real estate. Inclusivity itself is approved as a new "hygienic norm" in all complexes.
  • City One Development. Free access is a key requirement for future projects. Since it is impossible to redo the rented houses from the inside, the developer decided to go another way. Builders are installing spacious exterior elevators and making additional ramps.
