Lumumba Patrisa Street is located in Pechersk district of Kyiv near Saperne field. It is 1250 m long and stretches from Vasyl Tyutyunnyk Street to Mikhnovsky Boulevard.
From the 50s of the 20th century, it was called Novotverska and was a continuation of Tverska Street. In 1961, it was renamed in honor of Lumumba Patrice, the first prime minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Since 2016, it has been known as Ivan Pavla II Street.
