Heroes of Stalingrad street (prospect) is located in Obolon district Kyiv and belongs to the Obolon housing estate. It is 5 km long and starts from the overpass on Stepan Bandera Avenue, continues along Naberezhno-Rybalska Road and ends at Severnaya Street.
The street appeared in 1973 and was called Naberezhna Славутичand because of the close proximity of its beginning and the banks of the Dnieper. In the period 1982-2022, it was called Avenue of the Heroes of Stalingrad, and from 2022 it became Volodymyr Ivasyuk avenue - in honor of the outstanding Ukrainian composer.
